March 25, 2014: PUBLIC HEARING
The Trustees of the Village of Matinecock held a public hearing to solicit feedback from residents and neighbors regarding the draft Right-of-Way Use Agreement proposed by Crown Castle. The following actions were taken at the meeting:
- Residents concerned about the presented the document “26 Unanswered Questions and Concerns Regarding Wireless Antennas in Matinecock Village” to the Trustees of the Village for their consideration.
- Residents asked for a stay on signing the contract until all the questions had been fully addressed.
- The Trustees responded by:
- Granting the stay, and
- Asking Counsel representing Crown Castle to submit responses to the 26 Questions to the Trustees in writing by the next hearing on April 8th.
April 8, 2014: PUBLIC HEARING
In response to:
- Resident feedback,
- Martine and Helene Victor’s presentation of The 10 Points, a document analyzing the questionable business deal being offered the Village, and
- Attorney Thomas McKevitt’s remarks,
the Trustees granted a third stay on signing the contract.

Village Trustees heard further comments regarding the pending contract with Crown Castle. The public hearing
on this issue was closed. Residents await the Trustees’ decision on the contract, and on MRIT’s 3 requests.
